Even if you aren’t yet in the full swing of your wedding planning, wedding planning checklists can come in handy. Just sit back and think about everything that you have to do – it can make you feel a little crazy. The stress on your wedding day will be unlike any other stress that you’ve ever felt before. All the work and time that you’ve put in the plan your dream wedding day is all coming together on that one all important day. Can you feel the tension and stress yet? I can’t emphasize enough that you’ve got to be able to control the stress you before and on your wedding day so that you don’t have a nervous breakdown or forget something and burst into tears. You’ve got to learn how to circumvent the stress, and wedding planning checklists are a great place to start, as are some of these great pointers.
Learn to Delegate!
The first thing that you must do in order to keep yourself from getting so stressed out is learn to delegate certain tasks in your wedding. I know when I was planning my wedding I had a hard time wanting to give up control of anything, and the stress that I felt was enormous! You don’t want to feel that way, do you? It’s not fun at all! So, find some menial tasks that you can assign to someone else, such as addressing envelopes or tying 200 little bows and tags onto your wedding favors.
Create a Wedding Planning Checklist
The other thing you need to do is create a wedding planning checklist so you can be sure you’re not forgetting anything. Personally, I need a list when I’m doing anything, from the grocery store to getting ready for a dinner party – lists can really help to save your sanity. One of the greatest things about wedding planning checklists is that you can download one from off the Internet for free, and since that will be one of the only wedding things you can get for free, I’d take advantage of it!
Nearly any wedding planning checklist that you pick up will be detailed from tasks you need to complete to how long that you have to do them. This was a big help for me and the wedding planning checklist that I was using for my wedding. Of course, since my wedding was unique there were some of the tasks that I didn’t need to worry about, and I had to add a few things to the wedding planning checklist that I was using, but overall it was just what I needed to keep me from going crazy planning my wedding.
So the best piece of advice that I can offer you while you’re planning your wedding – don’t get stressed out! A wedding planning checklist can help you keep your sanity and will keep you from forgetting something really important.

I spent so much time on our wedding planning and working on the reception and other details that when it came time to decorate the church for my wedding, I was left wondering, “is this it?”. I totally didn’t think of church decorations. It really only hit me about two weeks before the big day when one of the ladies on the church asked me what I was planning on doing for decorations, and when I would need help to start decorating the sanctuary. I was shocked that I hadn’t even thought of it myself, and didn’t really have an answer. At that point so close to our actual wedding day, with all the other stressful details I was working on and considering more important I found myself wondering, “Do I really need church decorations?” After much thought and kicking myself for forgetting such a major detail, I came to the conclusion that my church decorations should have been at the forefront of my mind, and that I had let so many other things get in the way, and I’ll tell you why.

Truth be told, there are some things about your wedding day that may be more difficult than others. What was hard for us was that we had lots of family coming in from out of town, out of state, and some even out of the country to attend our wedding. Because we were so busy planning the wedding, decorating church and reception hall, doing the rehearsal dinner and and activities surrounding it, it was really difficult for us to be able to spend time with some of our family members who had come great distances. We had missed them and wanted to spend time with them, but time restraints just didn’t allow the long lengthy visits that we really wanted. I know that I tried my best, even foregoing a good night’s sleep before the wedding, and having a long wedding reception, but it still wasn’t quite the same. So when my sister planned a wedding day brunch for the morning of her wedding, I thought that was an excellent idea, and one to write about today.
Why plan a Wedding Day Brunch?
A wedding day brunch is a great way for the bride and her family to be able to spend more time with her bridesmaids, family members, and other special friends and people in her life.

I have to admit, even if you don’t like shopping at all, taking care of your wedding registries is one of the most fun parts of wedding planning that you’ll get to do. Even if you hate shopping, it’s still kind of fun to go around the store with your scanner and your fiance and pick out stuff for your new home together. Plus, one of the great things about wedding registries is that there really isn’t a limit on how much you register for, the number of stores you register at, or what is in your wedding registry. So basically that means, the sky is the limit. Of course, if you’re having a teeny wedding with only 50 in attendance, it wouldn’t make much sense to register at four different stores for hundreds of items. Wedding registries are a great way to tell your guests what you’d really like to have for your new home together, and wedding guests will typically appreciate not having to think of a gift themselves. Traditionally, wedding registries only consisted of dishes and linens, kitchen appliances and other odds and ends, that isn’t the case anymore. There are lots of different types of wedding registries that you can go for, which can really come in handy when you’re looking at your wedding registry.

A wedding planning website is simply that, a website that gives ideas, tips and tricks for those planning a wedding in the near future. Many sites allow you to create a free personal wedding website in order to share photos, use checklists for the bride and groom alike, as well as online calendars and much more depending on the quality of the website you use. There are a lot of quality, tried, true and trusted sites that not only aid you in planning your wedding, but also in sharing your plans with family and friends around the country. One common mistake when planning a wedding is assuming that the more stress you endure while planning your wedding will proportionally make your wedding more successful, and that’s just not true. A wedding planning website can help reduce your stress and give you ideas for every aspect of your wedding.

With the economy and prices being the way they are, I’m sure that many brides out there are going above and beyond looking for ways that they can save money on their weddings. I mean, after all, people seem to be doing it more and more in all other areas of their lives. Even if the economy isn’t bad, like it is right now, brides have always looked for some extra ways to save a bunch of cash on their weddings. Recently, my husband and I started a large vegetable garden to help save money at the grocery store, as well as having great tasting fruit and vegetables. While my husband and I were picking out seeds for our garden, I noticed a huge display of flower seeds that are typically used in weddings. Sunflowers, Lilies, Sweet Pea, Tulips and so much more were sitting right there next to our carrots and green beans, and it really got me thinking about how much I paid for my wedding flowers. So, in current mood of being able to do things yourself, here are some great wedding flowers that you can easily grow yourself to save some money!
