Wedding Themes No Comments »

Christmas Wedding CenterpiecesChristmas is a beautiful time of the year. I don’t know what it is about the month of December, but it seems that once the month starts, all you hear is Christmas music in the stores, people seem to be nicer to each other, Christmas decorations start popping up on houses, and people just seem to be happier. I don’t want to repeat myself from yesterday’s post, but if you are wondering if having a Christmas wedding is right for you, then check out my previous article, Should I Have a Christmas Wedding? If you have decided that you want to have a Christmas wedding with a Christmas theme, then you are in luck. There are lots of ideas for decorating your wedding ceremony and wedding reception with Christmas ideas. The Christmas wedding centerpieces you can come up with can be beautiful, and make people celebrate not only with your wedding, but with the upcoming Christmas season. If you need help coming up with ideas for your Christmas wedding centerpieces, then here are some great ideas to help you get started.

Christmas Wedding Centerpieces with Christmas Trees

If you are having a Christmas themed wedding, then you just can’t go wrong with Christmas trees as your wedding centerpieces. You can find miniature Christmas trees at many locations, that only stand about a foot tall, as well as decorations for your miniature Christmas trees. Feel free to decorate your Christmas trees with little candy canes, popcorn strings, lights, ornaments, stars, and anything your heart desires. Christmas trees are unique to the Christmas season, and you just can’t go wrong with this kind of Christmas wedding centerpiece.

Christmas Wedding Centerpieces with Flowers

Flowers are perhaps one of the most popular kind of wedding centerpieces that brides use. Don’t think that just because you are getting married in the winter season that you won’t have any kinds of flowers to use in your wedding reception, or that if you want to have flowers that you will pay a huge amount since they are out of season. This just isn’t true. Talk to your florist, but there are plenty of flowers that naturally bloom in the winter, and there is always holly, mistletoe and much more to use as your Christmas wedding centerpieces that are unique to the winter season.

Christmas Wedding Centerpieces with Candles

Christmas candles are another popular wedding centerpieces in the winter season. There are several ways to handle this. One is to get several large scented candles with some branches or holly around the base of the candle. The candle will add a romantic glow, as well as a favorite Christmas smell. The second is to place several long thin unscented candles in vases with a small Christmas wreath at the base, or candelabras.

Christmas is a beautiful time of the year to get married, and the options you have for your Christmas wedding centerpieces are endless with a bit of imagination and creativity.
