Getting a Passport for Your Honeymoon

Honeymoon 1 Comment »

Getting a Passport for your HoneymoonWhen you’re planning a honeymoon, there are several things you need to consider and plan for besides just the destination of your honeymoon and what the costs for the trip are going to be. If you are planning an international trip, such as to Mexico, Europe, and Canada, or even a trip to some US territories, such as Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands, you’re going to need to consider what kinds of travel laws and documents you’ll need to make the trip. While it seems they keep moving back the date of when you’ll need your passport to cross over the borders of Mexico and Canada by plane, you’ll definitely need a passport to visit Europe, or any other countries where you pass over a large body of water. In any case, it’s best to be prepared and have your passport. Here are some great tips for getting your passport in on time, and other questions brides frequently ask when getting their passports for a honeymoon vacation.

Start as Early as Possible

The earlier that you start getting the documents together to apply for your passport the better off you’ll be.

All Inclusive Honeymoons

Honeymoon 1 Comment »

All Inclusive HoneymoonsWith each spring and summer season, more couples in love get engaged and start planning the wedding of their dreams. And, along with wedding planning, there is also honeymoon planning to be done by the couple as well. Typically, honeymoon planning is done and paid for by the guy, but if you have another method worked out for how you want to pay for it, then more power to you. But traditionally, the guy is supposed to pick out and pay for a honeymoon vacation. Only problem is, most guys have never planned a vacation by themselves, especially not a vacation as important as a honeymoon vacation. Most couples choose to go into another country for their honeymoon vacations, which can be even more overwhelming for a guy or couple who have never planned a vacation like that by themselves before. My husband and I were in the same spot when we were planning our honeymoon, and we chose to go with an all inclusive honeymoon deal. It turned out excellently for us, and here are some great benefits of going with an all inclusive honeymoon to help make sure your honeymoon goes perfectly.

All Inclusive Honeymoon Deals Take Care of Everything

One of the best things about the all inclusive honeymoon deal that we went with was that it covered everything. So once the honeymoon was paid for, the cost we paid covered everything that we were responsible to pay for. Once we got on our plane, we didn’t have to worry about anything. The company we bought our all inclusive honeymoon from picked us up from the airport and drove us to the hotel. Our hotel room had already been paid for, all meals and drinks were covered under the all inclusive price that we paid. Every health bar was no charge, every bar was free (not that we drink, but very popular with those who did), there was in house entertainment every night with live music and shows which was great. Then, when it was time to go, the company who gave us our all inclusive honeymoon drove us back to the airport in time to meet our plane, and really helped us out a lot.

All Inclusive Honeymoons are Low Stress

Another great thing about all inclusive honeymoons is that they are really low stress, and after planning a wedding, the more low stress the better! All inclusive honeymoons do not require you to carry around cash or credit cards, watch your pennies with food and drinks at the resort, and much more. The restaurants, buffets, and other food and drink areas were always open, so you weren’t on any schedule but your own, which is the best way to have a honeymoon.

All Inclusive Honeymoons Can Have Hidden Costs

When you are shopping for all inclusive honeymoons, be sure to look at the fine print. Some all inclusive honeymoons offer everything except drinks, or everything except meals and drinks, so make sure that you have all of your questions answered before purchasing an all inclusive honeymoon deal. Also, be aware that if you want to do any special excursions outside of the resort, then these will also cost extra money. If you want to go shopping, be sure to bring extra money, also internet use, health club use, and the laundry service will have fee’s associated with them.

In short, all inclusive honeymoons can offer you a stress-free week to relax after the wedding that you will really enjoy. Just be careful when shopping for all inclusive honeymoons to make sure that everything is covered that you want to be covered. You can go to a travel agent to shop for all inclusive honeymoons, or go with a refutable and trusted travel site off the Internet (which is what we did). We were really happy with our all inclusive honeymoon, and I highly recommend it.
