If you’ve done any kind of searching through bridal magazines, then you’re sure to have noticed that nearly all of the brides in there are wearing one of many kinds of wedding headpieces. Wedding headpieces is kind of a generic term, but there are many different kinds of wedding headpieces that brides can wear to adorn their hair on their wedding day. There are many different kinds of wedding headpieces to choose from, and you’ll need to consider what kind of wedding you are having, as well as what your wedding budget is before you start looking at wedding headpieces. While some headpieces can be just a few dollars, such as a beautiful flower or group of flowers, other wedding headpieces can be ornate and costly. So if you have your wedding dress and are looking for the perfect wedding headpiece to accent your wedding hairstyle, then here are some great options you can look at when choosing wedding headpieces.
Using Flowers as Wedding Headpieces
This is perhaps the least expensive option you can go with for your wedding headpiece. Talk to your florist about what kind of flowers you’d like in your hair, such as one large colored flower or many small white flowers. Your florist can tell about which kinds of flowers are sturdy enough to last a whole day without wilting, as well as how much each bloom will cost you. Flowers can make a beautiful and an elegant headpiece for your wedding day that won’t cost very much.
Bridal Tiaras and Headbands
Many brides choose to go with a bridal tiara or headband for their wedding headpiece as an added touch of elegance and beauty. It can be difficult to find the perfect tiara or headband to serve as your headpiece, but be patient and find a headpiece that you fall in love with. I chose a small bridal tiara that had delicate little flowers on it and crystals, but it took me several months. See my article on Bridal Tiaras for more information. Bridal tiaras and headbands can make beautiful wedding headpieces with a sparkle, but you could wind up paying a pretty penny if you’re not careful. One of the great things about bridal tiaras and headbands is that you can keep them after the wedding as a memory. Only, as I’ve found, there aren’t many places outside of a wedding where you can wear a bridal tiara and not look silly.
Bridal Hats and Other Headpieces
As I mention in one of my previous articles about Wedding Hats, some people really love the idea of using wedding hats as a wedding headpiece. Granted, if you have the right kind of wedding hat then you don’t really need to worry about having a wedding hairstyle. But there are many different kinds of wedding combs you can purchase any kind of decoration on them, such as silk flowers or even crystals for a sparkley wedding headpiece.
There are many different kinds of wedding headpieces that you can choose from to create your perfect wedding day look. The best advice I have for choosing the perfect one is to look around in several nearby bridal boutiques and jewelry stores (Claire’s typically has some great tiaras) for ones that you like. Also, look in bridal magazines for a particular look that you love, and try your best to copy that look…even if it means creating your own wedding headpiece.

Sometimes it can be hard choosing from the many different wedding hairstyles that are available to you. Personally, I know I looked through dozens of photo galleries of different wedding hairstyles, and had a really hard time picturing what those styles would look like on me. See my article on
One popular choice for women today is to wear short hair, sometimes cut closely to the head, in a bob, or some other short wedding hairstyle. Personally, I have long hair, and I love having long hair. But everyone’s style is different when it comes to their hair, and some ladies prefer to have very short hair. I was lucky, with my long hair, I could choose from pretty much any kind of hairstyle that I liked. If you have short hair though, it could be a little more difficult coming up with a wedding hairstyle that will work with your shorter hair. There are still lots of different kinds of
