One of the most important things when shopping for your wedding shoes is that you need to purchase comfortable wedding shoes. Now, that doesn’t mean that I’m telling every bride out there that wedding flip flops or wedding tennis shoes are the only routes you can take when looking for comfortable wedding shoes. That isn’t the case at all. Different brides feel comfortable wearing different kinds of shoes, and some girls feel more comfortable wearing a pair of classy wedding shoes with a heel or other kind of elegant wedding shoes. So, if you’ve been looking around for a great pair of comfortable wedding shoes, and all you’ve been seeing are articles about how wedding tennis shoes are the only comfortable wedding shoes, that isn’t necessarily true. Here are some great ways to find a pair of comfortable wedding shoes that are still elegant and classy for your big day.
Trying on Your Wedding Shoes
One of the best ways to find a pair of comfortable wedding shoes is to try them on in the store, and be serious about trying them on. Try on both of the shoes, and walk around for a few minutes to see if there is any pinching, spots that rub particularly painfully, or any other factor that would make the shoes uncomfortable. If the shoes start hurting after a few minutes, chances are you won’t last in them all day at your wedding comfortably. So be serious when trying on shoes at the store, and take your time with each pair - you’ll be glad that you did.
Breaking in Your Wedding Shoes
If you find a pair of wedding shoes that you fall in love with, but they pinch a little and you think they just need to be broken in a little bit, be careful. You can try to break in your pair of wedding shoes by wearing them around the house or on short trips outside. (be careful not to get them dirty!) The only problem with this is that it can take a long time to break in a pair of shoes, and you’ll need to consider that carefully. If wearing the shoes give you blisters, you’ll probably get blisters from breaking in the shoes, and you want to give your feet time to heal for the big day. Also, you need to wear your wedding shoes with your dress while getting the dress altered, and if you decide later that the shoes you’ve chosen will be too uncomfortable - it could mess up the length of your dress. So be very careful when trying to break in a pair of shoes.
There are some good brands of wedding shoes that you can go with in the stores that are made to be comfortable wedding shoes for your big day. Just be careful when trying them on, and honest with yourself about how comfortable you’ll be in the wedding shoes you pick out. Trust me - you’ll be on your feet all day on your wedding day, and comfortable wedding shoes are a must!

So I knew that I wanted my white wedding shoes to be a comfortable pair of shoes that I could wear all day without my feet hurting. So when I was shopping for the perfect pair of white wedding shoes, I had some idea of what I was looking for, but didn’t really know where to start looking. So, if you are looking for the perfect pair of white wedding shoes to complete your wedding day look, then here are some great places to start.
You’ll find that on your wedding day, you’re on your feet nearly the whole day. I remember for my wedding, the only times I sat down were to have my hair and make-up done, in the limo on the way to the reception, and for about five minutes during the meal where my husband and I grabbed a little bit of the dinner we had planned before making the rounds to the tables to thank everyone for coming. Needless to say, I was very happy that I had some comfortable wedding shoes, or it would have been miserable for me to be on my feet for that long. In one of my previous articles,
