Go for Romance!
What is it that every couple thinks of when they think of Valentine’s Day?
Probably something like a nice dinner with candlelight, roses and maybe even chocolates. The bad thing about a Valentine’s Day wedding is that roses are really expensive in February, so look for something close. A great cheap idea for Valentine wedding centerpieces is to put a large mirror at the center of the table, place some tall candles in holders on top, and the sprinkle with rose petals or place small votive candles around the taller candles. This will create a beautifully romantic look throughout the whole room for all to enjoy.
A Valentine Wedding Centerpiece Topiary
In my article about Martha Stewart wedding centerpieces, I gave a quick detailed account on how to make a topiary for your wedding day decorations. You can create some beautiful Valentine wedding centerpieces with a simple topiary, or topiaries of varying heights and colors on your tables. Use the same votive candles around the base to add a look of romance, or buy some plastic champagne glasses filled with red hots (or conversation hearts, or chocolates) for a spark of color and a snack for your guests. It’s a great and a cheap way to make a great valentine wedding centerpiece.

One of the great things about planning a Valentine’s Day day around Valentine’s Day, (or even right after!) is that you can get some great deals on decorations. There are lots of great tools out there for you to create Valentine wedding centerpieces. Edible Valentine Wedding Centerpieces
One popular trend for wedding centerpieces over the past few years is for each table to have a small wedding cake at the center of each table. That way the guests can serve themselves cake, and the cakes serve as a centerpiece as well. Two birds with one stone right? If you’re thinking of going to go this route for your valentine wedding centerpiece , order your miniature wedding cakes in heart shapes. You can rent a beautiful base for the wedding cake, and sprinkle confetti hearts or cupids around the table as well. You can’t beat it!
