One of the most popular sets of colors for weddings this year is pink and brown, or rather, anything with brown. I’ve seen teal and brown, and even a kind of tan and brown, which is also very beautiful. As I mentioned before in previous articles, my sister is getting married soon and will also be having a pink and brown wedding, and the colors are just beautiful together. Okay, before I start, I had a totally hard time choosing my wedding colors, and looking back, I may have chosen another color or even a combination of colors to give my bridesmaids and decorations a little bit of a break to make it easier to match everything. For my spring wedding, I wanted my colors to be something bright and cheery, but also didn’t want my bridesmaids to hate me and hate the dress (I choose peach by the way). I wanted to match (or at least not clash) with the colors in the church, and since my bridesmaids consisted of two blonds, a red head, a brunette, and one with black hair, I wanted something that would compliment each person’s skin tone. If you need help choosing a color for a redhead in your bridal party, check out my other article, Bridesmaid Dress Colors for Redheads. Anyway, for days, I walked around looking at colors and color combinations, but it doesn’t have to be that hard for you. Here are some great helpful hints for choosing your wedding colors.

With large dinner receptions, many brides and grooms choose to name their tables to help their guests find their seats. Naming your tables at your reception is easy, though you may be having trouble knowing where to start. While most couples choose to use numbers to name their tables, (hey its easy!), you may want to do something different to show your individuality. The table names you choose should fit your personality and can be anything that you like. If you love your job, choose names much like your occupation, something that relates to your wedding reception, something exciting about your honeymoon, or even just things both you and your fiance love. If your mind is shot from other wedding plans, and you need some ideas for names for your tables, look at some great examples below.
